Good News! The massive open online Metagenomics course has been recently launched on the Coursera plateform.
As you may know, the EFFORT training on the use of metagenomics in surveillance of pathogens and antimicrobial resistance consisted of an e-learning component delivered online early 2018, followed by a one and half day hands-on workshop, held on the 19th and 20th of March 2018, in Tallinn, Estonia.
After the workshop, the e-learning content was reviewed before being launched.
We have now the pleasure to share with you the coursera link on the metagenomics course: https://www.coursera.org/learn/metagenomics
Furthermore, a short report has been posted right after the workshop. Additional interested candidates registered to receive the workshop slides while waiting for the MOOC to be launched on Coursera.
2 deliverables have been provided related to 1) the e-learning course and 2) the hands-on session. Both documents can be found in the following link of the website: http://www.effort-against-amr.eu/page/publications/public-deliverables.php
